Never using a recipe in her life, my mother was famous for her homemade desserts.  She created simple, uncomplicated desserts that left everyone hungry for more.  I learned that a homemade cake or warm batch of cookies was all you needed to bring a few people together.  Following in my mother's footsteps, I decided to open The Cakery.

I envision a glowing bride on her wedding day, a child celebrating a first birthday, and all the families and friends that will gather around my cakes - laughing together and making memories even sweeter.
